A perfectly told story of folklore, songs and dance, also of the Mazowsze band. It's wonderful there, everyone can explore it at their own pace. We happened to be reading Nad Niemnem. A brilliant idea.
Very nice and modern place. Beautifully presented folk costumes from various regions of Poland and history. In each room there is a different region, outfit and music to listen to and watch. The price is very affordable. The service lady was very nice and helpful. The park around the palace is very nice. You can sit and relax and listen to the silence and the frogs of the flowers. There is even a small corner for children where they can play and have fun. I recommend.
Nicely presented museum with Polish music culture and history. A surprising and unexpected visit. Worth checking it out.
I recommend this place to people who want to relax in the silence of the surrounding park, the complex is the headquarters of the Mazowsze Song and Dance Ensemble. On-site playgrounds, a beautiful park and forest, occasional outdoor concerts, and the Museum of the Mazowsze Song and Dance Ensemble. There is a restaurant and a bar, you can easily spend the whole day there. Easy access from Warsaw WKD.
A very nice place for people interested in folklore, folk costumes, and the history of the Mazowsze band. A modern and creative exhibition, a nice park around the Palace to take a walk. Few visitors make the place very peaceful and relaxing! An adult ticket is PLN 20 and a reduced ticket is PLN 15.
The modern multimedia exhibition is primarily a collection of costumes and instruments from various parts of Poland. In addition, part of the exhibition was devoted to the Mazowsze band itself, its history and founders. A great place to visit with a child. The tour will probably take less than an hour, and right next to the palace there is a beautiful garden and a playground.
Brilliant place! The official name is "Polish Folklore Center - Karolin Palace". I dare you to suggest changing the name, at least on Google maps, as most people will just skip this place. For me, it is simply a museum of the "Mazowsze" band located in the original (former) headquarters of the band. Recently renovated, the museum is an example of what this type of facilities should look like. Interactive, presenting not only the history of the "Mazowsze" band, but also history and interesting facts about ethnic groups living in the supposedly culturally homogeneous Poland. Additionally, a beautiful park and a playground for children. I can't find any cons to this place.
Unforgettable impressions. The guide, a member of the Mazowsze Band, showed us around the museum brilliantly, and the musician conducted a singing lesson in a very interesting way. In addition, a fantastic approach to the trip. Everything is known. They send us a map and tell us where to park the bus. Everything is explained thoroughly. Other places should follow Karolina's example. The hiker feels like he is a nice guy. Group tickets must be ordered in advance.
